General
Clear surfaces and floors of clutter
Move furniture if necessary, ensuring access to all areas.
Secure valuables and fragile items
Ensure accessibility by unlocking rooms
Manage Pets and Children (keep out of way of cleaners and equipment)
Kitchen
Store perishable food, clear countertops
Empty appliances(microwave, oven and stove)
Remove items from stovetop and kitchen floor
Remove items from inside cabinets(if cabinets were added during the booking)
Empty sinks, dishwashers
Bathrooms
Clear countertops and toilets
Remove items from shower/tub areas
Clear bathroom floors and corners
Remove items from inside cabinets(if cabinets were added during the booking)
Flush all toilets and ensure no bodily fluids are present
Bedrooms
Put away clothing and personal items
Organize nightstands and dressers; clear surfaces
Remove shoes and clear bedroom floor
Clean inside closets and organize belongings
Additional Considerations
Inform the cleaning team about specific areas of concern
Ensure selected extras (i.e. Appliance Deep Cleans) are communicated to the cleaning team
